A starting list of garment manufacturers and exporters based in Nepal that have a public website, compiled from the Garment Association Nepal (GAN) member list, the World Fair Trade Organization and Fair Trade Group Nepal member pages, and each company’s own site. It is listed alphabetically and is not a ranking. Some search results for “garment manufacturer Nepal” are firms based in other countries, so check where a supplier actually produces before you order.
Lalitpur
Makes: Hand-knitted wool sweaters, gloves, socks, hats and scarves; hand-knotted carpets.
Focus: Non-profit fair-trade producer; hand-knitting by home-based women artisans.
Kathmandu
Makes: Handmade knitwear, hemp, wool and cotton clothing for women, men and children; also T-shirts, polos, hoodies and jackets for private label.
Focus: Handmade and wholesale garments for brands, boutiques and wholesalers; exporting since 2007 (own site).
Thimi, Bhaktapur
Makes: Women’s and men’s blouses, shirts, T-shirts, trousers, skirts, jackets, blazers, coats and cardigans.
Focus: Private-label fashion manufacturing for European and Middle Eastern brands.
Kathmandu
Makes: Clothing and accessories, with cutting, weaving, yarn warping, dyeing and tie-dye, screen printing and sewing in house.
Focus: Full-service clothing and accessory manufacturer.

Makes: Cashmere and pashmina sweaters, cardigans, pullovers, scarves and stoles for women, men and children.
Focus: Cashmere knitting house supplying brands since 2004.

Makes: Custom T-shirts, hoodies, uniforms and sportswear, with screen, DTF and sublimation printing and embroidery.
Focus: Custom and private-label production for start-ups and growing brands, with export shipping.
Kathmandu
Makes: Cut-and-sew clothing, caps, bags, swimwear, lingerie, accessories and soft toys.
Focus: Social-enterprise, fair-trade cut-and-sew manufacturer for ethical and outdoor brands.
Gaindakot, Nawalpur
Makes: Cut-and-sew cotton knit basics: T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies and knit shorts.
Focus: Knit basics for export brands; MOQ 1,000 pcs per style per colour, about 26,000–30,000 pcs a month on 150+ machines; samples 7–14 days, bulk 40–50 days; around 80% of the team are women. Printing and embroidery via partners. No BSCI, Sedex or WRAP audit yet.
